Rumparooz Cloth Diaper Cover, Peacock Aplix, Newborn reviews from buyers.
Not that great
I bought these because we liked the newborn covers-- the fit was just right for our little 6-lb baby girl over newborn prefolds and kissaluv newborn fitted diapers. However these one-size covers fit my now 10lb baby very poorly. When I fold down to the smallest or medium size, the garter around the leg holes gets really bulky. No leaks though. Even at a larger setting there are garter marks around her thighs and she has quite skinny legs. The thirsties x-small and duo wrap covers and the blueberry coveralls fit her much better. Maybe when she gets bigger, when we won't have to fold the rise down so much, these will fit better. These are my least favorite covers and I honestly regret this purchase.
perfect except for weird tag on back which leads to leaks
I loved these rumparooz and wanted to switch to them completely - until I noticed a square wet spot on the back of my kid's onesie. The label that is sewn on to the back of the cover ends up leaking if the diaper is completely wet - which means that if my baby is wearing them during her nap, she wakes up and needs a change of onesie. Would be perfect if not for that leak-causing label in back.
We love these!
These covers fit my preemie twins from the time we brought them home from the hospital (~6.5lbs) to now at 14lbs (though they're snug). Best of all we've never had a poop leak in them! We're using primarily these and Thirsties covers and prefer them to the Thirsties - the velcro has held up MUCH better and, for the most part, they haven't discolored. Turns out our babies' poop stains anything white so the trim on all the Thirsties covers is now very dingy looking, while the Rumparooz have same color trim and look much better after many washings. The fabric also has a slightly softer feel.
