Can't believe I did not find these before!
We have been cloth diapering our daughter for 16 months now and the only thing I regret is not having found these snappi's before! We use the osocozy cloth diaper and thirsties (which I also recommend) snap shell system. For the longest time we would fold the diaper as instructed and essentially use the shell to hold the diaper in place and it seemed to work well for us. I saw these while I was shopping for some new shells and on a whim decided to get them. After the first time using them I could not believe we had gone so long without them. They are the best thing at holding the diaper in place! Very easy to use and seem to be made of a thick plastic material. We are fortunate to have a daycare that works with us on cloth diapering and after we got this changing the diapers has been a lot easier for them as well.

The only negative is that these suckers are sharp. Overall that is good because that give them a good ability to hold them in place but you really have to read...

We feel like idiots not knowing there was a size 2

We used size 1 snappi's for the past 19 months.

Yes you read that correctly... 19 months!!!!

We were getting frustrated that the snappi was so hard to fasten on our daughter and I actually went back to using safety pins on her. Then, I noticed this size 2 on amazon and realized... there's a larger size!!!

Now our old snappis have stretched out quite a bit, which is why we weren't on the look out for new sizes at all. Even with them stretched out, I couldn't get her into the diaper comfortably enough, and it would dig into her. When I received my package in the mail yesterday with a size 2 snappi, I investigated the stretch. Sure enough, visibly the Size 2 is 1/4" larger. However, the stretch is much much longer. We are so relieved. She can now be diapered without fear that we're going to snap the snappi!

good for chunksters

The package says for 18 months plus, but we needed them at 8 months. They work great, much easier on a chunky baby.
