Love Best Bottoms, but not H&L.

We use best bottoms exclusively. I started with about half snaps and half H&L since I wasn't sure what we would prefer. After just a couple weeks I had a strong preference for the snaps. My twins kept getting marks on their bellies where the H&L would rub and it was just a lot stiffer where the tabs came together. It also wears out so fast. I sold all of our H&L (except Freedom and Liberty, since I couldn't replace those) and finished our stash with snaps.

Best Bottom Diapers really are the best
If you aren't familiar with the Best Bottoms diaper system, they are an all-in-two diaper. The two parts are the shell and the liner. This is the shell. When your baby has soiled the diaper, you can simply snap out the liner and insert a clean one. With all-in-ones, you have to change and wash the entire diaper every time. With the Best Bottoms system, you can have fewer shells in rotation (we have 8). So you save money on the shells, have less laundry to wash, and less stuff to carry when you travel.

The other advantage of Best Bottoms is that they are one-size, adjustable diapers. My baby could wear Best Bottoms when she was about 3 weeks old (a little over 8 pounds), and the same diaper will fit her through potty training. Again, fewer diapers to buy.

Best diaper system ever!

I love these cloth diapers! They are so easy to use and I have never had them leak! (Excluding an occasional poop blowout-but that happens even with disposables.) I could even use a prefold diaper with the cover and it still works great! I've tried regular diaper covers and prefolds and I've also tried all-in-ones but these work better for me than all of those. The All-in-ones were hard for me to adjust right to fit my baby and if I got it too tight, it would leave red marks on his skin. They leached moisture out on his clothes and they were also annoying and time consuming to stuff. Best Bottom diapers solve all those problems. They are easy to adjust, easy to snap the insert in and not to mention, very cute and trim! After getting frustrated with everything else and resorting to disposable diapers, I found Best Bottom and I'm so glad I did!
