GroVia Cloth Wipes, 12 count Reviews

GroVia Cloth Wipes, 12 count reviews from buyers.

Laundry Nightmare!
These wipes are ultra soft and perfect for my baby's skin. They absorb well, so they stay moist in my wipe warmer, a plus for any cloth wipes. However, I no longer use these wipes because they make laundry - which should be a simple task - a complete hassle! They are seamed 3 times along the outer edges, and in every wash the seems come apart, leaving strings hanging loose in my dryer. The first few washes it wasn't a problem, and I just cut off the loose thread after they dried. But now in every wash, the threads become wrapped around inserts and diaper liners to the point where I end up with a huge tangled mess that I have to cut apart before I can put anything in the dryer. If it was one wipe I would think it was just a mistake, but the seams on every single wipe have unthreaded in the washer and caused this nightmare. It's pretty ridiculous to pay so much for wipes that are so cheaply manufactured that they fall apart after only a few washes.

Three wipe showdown!
We purchased the Grovia, Charlie Banana and Babykicks Cloth wipes for use in our Prince Lionheart Premium Antibacterial Wipe Warmer. Our baby is currently 10 weeks old. We use tap water on our wipes. No "wipe solutions" of any kind. We have not had any problems with diaper rash since we moved to cloth diapers and wipes 5 weeks ago. Hands down, our favorite are the Grovia wipes. Here is the breakdown:

Charlie Banana: Our least favorite of the bunch. When we bought these, the price was $17.99 for 20 organic cotton wipes. This seemed like a great value for 20 wipes! However, the cloth is a thin jersey type cotton (like thin tee-shirt material). The weave on these wipes actually repels liquids. With the other wipes, I just wet the stack under the tap and then load the stack into the wipe warmer. These wipes will not absorb water this way. I have to load the dry wipes in the warmer and then fill the warmer with water and they very slowly absorb the water over a few hours. It is...

Great (multi-purpose) baby wipes!
I absolutely love these cloth wipes! They are super soft and the perfect size. I have also purchased BabyKicks wipes and they are not nearly as good as these GroVia wipes.

My baby is very prone to diaper rashes so I purchased some BabyKicks wipes, but they are a little small and a little rough on one side. I recently purchased the GroVia wipes, which I use with just hot water (they are cool enough for baby by the time I get to the changer and get the diaper off)...and her super stubborn rash is almost gone! After I use a wet wipe I also use a dry wipe to remove any moisture and I like to use California Baby diaper rash cream (calming) during the day and Burt's Bees diaper cream at night. This has worked really well for my baby when simply using medicine and normal wipes were not clearing up her rash. I have bought 2 packs of 12 and plan on buying another 2 b/c they are great to use as washcloths for bath time, wiping her hands and face after eating, and I love to use...

GroVia Cloth Wipes, 12 count is one of the best cloth diapers from GroVia.
