GroVia Cloth Diaper Shell - Snap - Sweetgrass Reviews

GroVia Cloth Diaper Shell - Snap - Sweetgrass reviews from buyers.

Love Grovia
I LOVE Grovia Hybrids! These are my go-to diaper! I have 11. They are husband and caretaker friendly and great for traveling. I have used them with grovia biosoakers, grovia stay dry soakers, thirsties duo inserts, and prefolds. I prefer the Stay dry inserts because they snap in and are easiest for the hubs. When my son was itty bitty I preferred the aplix vs snaps, now both work well. I generally use the aplix when someone else will change him (doctor, grandma, etc) ias t's closest to a disposable.

22 months of cloth diapering. The master list!
(updated 3.22.13) After extensive research, trial and error, and even a class on cloth diapering at the local birth center, I settled on the Grovia system and have not regretted that decision. My son is now 22 months and we have been using Grovia since about 8 weeks. I am doing it this way because I wish there had been something comprehensive like this on Amazon when I was shopping for my diaper stuff! If you are considering buying a Grovia system, this will be helpful for you. If you are looking for a comprehensive review on just one item, other reviews may be more suitable.

Excellent System-Not your grandmothers cloth diapers
After my second son was born I began to look into cloth diapering as a means to save money being a new SAHM. After extensive research I invested in the Grovia System due to the ease of use and flexibility. Other friends of mine who use pocket diapers, mainly Bumgenius and Fuzzibuns, all want to switch when they see me change my son (as odd as that sounds). With the Hybrid shells you do not need the large stash that you require with pocket diapers-although it does help to have a nice rotation. After wet diapers I simply snap out the used soaker pad (I use the stay dry soakers in the winter mainly and the organic cotton in the summer)and snap in a fresh one and tada, all done! No stuffing, no soaking, nada! These soakers pads are unlike their less shapely cousins of the cloth diapering world, they have gussets and a waterproof backing-much like a disposable. I have never had a "blow out" since starting these-my son is now 9 months old. The snaps are easy to use and we have had no...
