Rumparooz Cloth Diaper Cover, Amethyst Aplix, Newborn Reviews

Rumparooz Cloth Diaper Cover, Amethyst Aplix, Newborn reviews from buyers.

Good NB cover
Good NB cover! Fits better with flat or prefolds than my other snap covers! Haven't had any blow outs or leaks! Fits well around legs!

Best Cover for Small Babies
This is the best cloth diaper cover for small babies. I've tried several brands and this cloth diaper is best and by far the best. My baby girl is petite. She has JUST outgrown newborn clothes at 2 months old and still uses these covers on their smallest setting. The double leg gussets actually snug around her tiny thighs and keep the wetness and poop blowouts off her clothing. She's a 1 poop a day kid and that poop is big, so containing it is a tough job. Bonus, the cover is cute. The colors are great and we used the pink one in her newborn pictures with a pink hat my mom knitted her and it was adorable. We used this cover for pictures at 6 weeks in a dark purple dress a friend knitted and they also came out super cute. I have 4 of these covers and plan to buy the next size up when she outgrows them (which won't be for quite some time).

easier than snaps & fits just as well
I bought this at the same time as a Rumparooz Cloth Diaper Cover with a snap and like both equally well. done correctly, we had no problems with leaks, it is soft, comfortable, cute, and easy to care for.

Thirsties Diaper Cover with Hook and Loop, Aqua, X-Small Reviews

Thirsties Diaper Cover with Hook and Loop, Aqua, X-Small reviews from buyers.

I like the Duo Wrap better
The size x-small was getting to tight for my baby so I ordered the size small. It looks huge on her and in order to get a good fit I have to tighten the velcro. When she sits up for bends her legs in it digs into her belly.
The Thirstie Duo wrap in size one with the snaps is much better for her right now at about 12 lbs.
I do not like the velco versions, they are very stiff and limit how much the baby can move.

Really wanted to like the aplix, but..
But the reviews are true, the velcro wears out. Fast. It also doesn't hold as well as the snap/button closures, and it ismuch bulkier than the snap closure-types.
It is perfectly waterproof, so no harm there.. but as far as cloth diapering goes it is very bulky as-is and I prefer to keep things trim as possible. I love thirsties brand, as well as a few others but as far as all covers go- I wish I had stuck to the snap closures instead of investing in the velcro styles.

IMO- aplix/velcro looks easier and cuter, but I don't like wasting money. I feel I wasted more money on aplix than snaps. But go thirsties!! Good brand. (:

Nice Diaper Cover
I really liked the old Thirsties diaper covers and have been using them for 2 years. When these new ones were issued, I was worried that the quality would be compromised. In all honesty, I don't notice any difference between these and the old ones. I took away one star because they did leave a mark on my 2 year old's leg that took at least a week to go away. It was a small bruise caused by a piece of the closure rubbing against his leg as he walked, but I don't know if it was bunching up because of the prefolds I use (osocozy) or because of my son's current size. I'm going to try putting a bandaid on his leg in that spot to protect him. Overall, it's a good, durable product.

Alva Baby One Size Washable Reusable Cloth Diaper Fit for 6-33lbs Baby (Jeans) Two Inserts J01 Reviews

Alva Baby One Size Washable Reusable Cloth Diaper Fit for 6-33lbs Baby (Jeans) Two Inserts J01 reviews from buyers.

great and best cloth diaper!! Works as good as the $20 diapers and it's Super Cute!
This is a great and best cloth diaper!

First of all, I have tried about 12 different types/brands of diapers, and they all have their place and purpose. Some are better for the budget, some wash and dry easier, and some are easier to use than others. I would say this cloth diaper is best and a wonderful "happy medium."

THE PROS:
It is cute! The outer fabric feels like a heavy and durable satin. It is printed to look like denim; it is not actually denim (that would be way too heavy and bulky for a diaper). The inner pocket is made of a soft fleecy feeling fabric similar to a fuzzibunz diaper. The inserts look, feel and work like a fuzzibunz insert.

The price is right! I have paid $20 for a fuzzibunz one size elite diaper, and this is selling for $10 and change right now...a great deal for a one size diaper!

It works!! My son is 6 weeks old and it fits him. Obviously on a small baby it will be bulkier than a larger baby, but that is true with any one...

no leaks, not too bulky
I wasn't sure about ordering Alva Baby diapers because some people had told me that they were cheaply made. Maybe that's true, but I haven't been able to tell the difference between these and my whopping $20 a pop BumGenius new diapers. I absolutely love the suede cloth. I have washed this cloth diaper so many times and it has stayed just as soft as when I first purchased it.

It's not too bulky for daytime use, but it also works really well with night time use for my almost 3 year old. The diaper itself is a little big--- this would not fit my 13 week old. The legs are still a little too big from him, but I purchased it FOR my toddler, so I got out of it what I intended.

Overall, a great value for my money!

Love this cloth diaper!!!
I must say when I first used it I didnt care for this cloth diaper because of the fit but thats because I had it on wrong. After making a few corrections...I LOVE this cloth diaper. My daughter has thunder thighs and it fits her so nicely without leaving marks...no leaks. great for day time use. I dont think it would hold up at night. The pocket opening is small but not a big deal for me. As far as quality...well....its been washed at least 20+ times and it looks like new. No fading, pilling, stink or stains.

Logan + Lenora Waterproof Wet Bag 'Earthy Owls' Medium Reviews

Logan + Lenora Waterproof Wet Bag 'Earthy Owls' Medium reviews from buyers.

Great lining but disappointed in size and that there is ...
Great lining but disappointed in size and that there is not an external pocket for dry items. Beautiful fabric print.

High Quality
I LOVE these wet bags. I primarily use them for cloth diapers - taking them home from daycare. The lining is very durable and smooth so the diapers slide right in. Another one I have has a sticky lining making it hard to smush the diapers into the bag. I have washed these wet bags with the cloth diapers (a very heavy duty wash cycle!) every other day for about 2 years, and the lining is finally wearing out. If I followed the washing instructions, I'm sure they would still be in tip top shape. The cloth outer is still just like new.

I very highly recommend this product.

LOGAN and LENORA = rad wet bag!
I'm obsessed with these bags. I have 2. You can use them as wet bags but... if you don't have a baby (which I don't) you can also use them for loads of other things. Especially great for travel because if stuff spills inside it doesn't make a gigantic mess for the rest of your suitcase. And they are beautiful. Stylish and practical. I love giving these as gifts to my mom-to-be friends. Cause who doesn't love owning baby stuff that isn't covered in ugly primary colors and stupid designs? The material is super quality so it will last after your baby is no longer a baby and then you can use it for other stuff and not feel like a chump. RECOMMENDED! SUPER SATISFIED!

Buttons Daytime Diaper Insert (Small) Reviews

Buttons Daytime Diaper Insert (Small) reviews from buyers.

Buttons inserts are very convenient
Buttons inserts are super easy to snap into the adorable diaper covers. I've been using these for more than 6 months. They are also really easy to wash, hold up well over time, and convenient attach to the diaper cover with a snap to prevent shifting around during diaper changings. The edges are also sewn with durable thread for long lasting quality. I will be using Buttons diapers for the next few years.

Absorbent and Soft Cloth Diaper Inserts
Buttons Cloth Diaper Covers are designed to have these great inserts snapped into place. The inserts come in all sizes to fit newborn through toddler stage. They are very soft, absorbent, and help prevent leaks. They are also washable not disposable. Be sure to prep them for first time use, by washing 3 or 4 times in very hot water and drying. These are a great invention.

Works Great!
Baby loves them, mom loves them, what's not to love!?

These are easy to use and clean. Just snap them on and off and toss them in the washing machine when needed.

Easy. We use unscented detergent with a few drops of tea tree oil for freshness and they are like new.

Cloth Diaper Inserts Organic Bamboo Inserts Booster Doubler (Large 8 Pack 14x5 Inch) Reviews

Cloth Diaper Inserts Organic Bamboo Inserts Booster Doubler (Large 8 Pack 14x5 Inch) reviews from buyers.

Extremely soft!
These are oh so soft and absorb much better than the cotton ones that came with my pocket diapers. I also use them to double up with prefolds and a cover. They're so soft I'm happy to put them right up against my son's hiney!

Worth the money
This product is wonderful. I purchased these inserts for my Fuzzibunz and Green Bees cloth diapers. The insert is thin, soft, and not bulky. The absorbency is amazing. They really soak up a great deal of liquid. I have used them as a stand alone insert and an additional nighttime insert, no leaks. I would buy these again and recommend to anyone. The gift bag they come in is very sturdy, cute, and reusable. This is a great product!

Great with the Bum Genius Pocket Diapers for Night
We use these inserts with the Bum Genius pocket diapers. We use two of these, a hemp insert, and a fleece liner above the pocket (right next to son's skin) and this does the trick! We were hesitant about spending so much on the pocket diapers and everything else, but it has been so worth the money!! He hardly ever gets rashes any more. He used to wake up with bad rashes when we just used two pre-folds (and he had a HUGE diaper butt!). These inserts are very absorbent and we would definitely order more of these if we needed more.

Kissa's Cotton Fleece Fitted Diaper, Unbleached, 15 - 40 Pounds Reviews

Kissa's Cotton Fleece Fitted Diaper, Unbleached, 15 - 40 Pounds reviews from buyers.

It is okay
Durable and serves its purpose.... Not very absorbent! Would not purchase again, personally. Many rinses seem to be needed, and not very soft. Holds off the stank.

Kissas M/L fitted diapers are fantastic!
I just received 2 of these cloth diapers in the natural color. They were so soft and squishy right out if the package. I was thinking they were going to be too big for my 12 lb. son but then I figured out that the waist folds down to size medium and they fit him great. They are bulky, but I do not mind. I put them in the wash immediately so I could put them to the test. The instructions say to wash at least 3 times but I only washed twice because I was so anxious to use them. I put one on my son with a Blueberry coverall and it covered everything perfectly. Well, he was in it for his 2 hour nap and just as I was about to change him he had a massive poop. this cloth diaper held everything in! The cover had nothing on it. None if his other diapers have done that! I am going to order more if these and sell my other diapers.

Great item, incorrect ad
I love the diapers (when I can actually use them), but the ad said they would fit a 10 to 40 lb baby. My little man is 9 lbs and so I was thinking he could wear these soon. I got the package and it clearly states ON the Kissa's packaging that it's for 15lbs and up. They are ENORMOUS. So, that really annoys me that I'm receiving incorrect information. I could've ordered a different diaper in the CORRECT size if I had known.

Thirsties Duo Wrap Size 1 Cloth Diaper Cover 6 Pack Gender Neutral Cover with Dainty Baby Reusable Bag Bundle Reviews

Thirsties Duo Wrap Size 1 Cloth Diaper Cover 6 Pack Gender Neutral Cover with Dainty Baby Reusable Bag Bundle reviews from buyers.

I liked them but....
We bought these wraps when we were pregnant and were really impressed with the quality and color selection. However the biggest selling point for us was the fact that these cloth diaper covers "grows" with baby. These do exactly that but the sizing information is wrong. Our son is 4 months old and 15 pounds and has outgrew the size 1's. I am hesitant to buy the size 2's because I am afraid that he will be out of these by 8 months. Thirsties really needs to make a third size range for these covers because they are a super product as far as containing messes, being durable, etc., etc., the sizes are just way off.

Best fit for LO
After using ProWraps for a couple months and having some poopy leaks around the leg gussets, I tried these and they fit perfectly! The gussets are just the right tightness for her little legs and easy to wipe clean. And the colors are so cute! Also, great price for a 6 pack.

cloth diaper covers
we have tried pro-wraps, bummis and these. these work the best for us. they clean up easily, keep the mess inside and seem to be a comfortable fit for the babes.

Blueberry Coveralls Diaper Snap (Jungle Jam) Reviews

Blueberry Coveralls Diaper Snap (Jungle Jam) reviews from buyers.

Cute, functional diaper cover
This is just what I expected: a cute, well-made diaper cover. It's very similar to the Thirsties products. In fact, I probably could not tell a difference between the two companies, but perhaps a real cloth diapering "expert" could! I had a number of Thirsties covers in the past and needed a larger size because my baby outgrew them, so I ordered this cloth diaper. So far, so good. The sizing is generous, it appears to be like the Thirsties size 2. The design is adorable in person. The stars and owls look pretty cute too online. Oh oh!

Great Fit!
My thirsties were wearing out. I had velcro ones and they began leaking around the velcro seams. Also the lining of the velcro was coming apart and after six months of use the velcro just wasn't staying put very well. Also the elastic on the thristies got streatched out in the wash and her diaper kept wanting to sag through the legs. So I had three velcro thirsties that turned out to be a mistake, but I also had one swaddlebees snap I bought to try. After six months my swaddlebees snap shows no where. When I searched for swaddlebees, Blueberry came up. It's all the same prints so I'm guessing they are the same company. So I went and bought two blueberry coveralls. There is a little difference between my swaddlebees cover and the blueberry. The swaddlebees is noticeably heavier and has material over the inside of the snaps to keep them from touching the baby's skin. The blueberry is more generous with room as you expand. However the fit is the same. I am really happy with the...

Best diaper covers!!
I like that these covers have gussets for added leak protection. They are very durable and we love diapering our 3 months old in these, especially since we can reuse them more than once before needing to wash! I highly recommend!

Bummis Swimmi Swim Diaper, Camping Critters, Large Reviews

Bummis Swimmi Swim Diaper, Camping Critters, Large reviews from buyers.

Everything a swim diaper should be
I love this swim diaper. I considered several brands and styles, but am happy I chose this cloth diaper. I decided that if my son went #2 while in his swim diaper, it would be much better to have one with velcro tabs than one that pulls up/down with elastic.

Great product, easy to use
Got this swim diaper for my 6/7 month old daughter. She's about 18 pounds and it still is a little big on her, but does a great job for swim class! Easy to put on and wash. Had bought the small size for her and she grew out of it at about 4ish months.

It's ok but not for us
The design on this is adorable but it causes my daughter to get welts on her skin. The Velcro is strong but ruined her swim suit.

One Size Elite FuzziBunz Cloth Diaper (Mint) Reviews

One Size Elite FuzziBunz Cloth Diaper (Mint) reviews from buyers.

My favorite pocket diaper, but not a "magic bullet!"
I have been cloth diapering for nearly ten years, and have tried over a dozen different, popular brands of cloth diapers in all their various forms (prefolds & covers, fitteds & covers, all-in-ones, all-in-twos, pockets, you name it! ;)). Out of them all, the FuzziBunz Elites are my overall favorite. The thing I like best is the way they are so perfectly sized for my little one (in every stage of life so far :)) with all of the adjustable elastic and none of those ugly snaps all down the front of the diaper (I've used those for several years and just can't get the same kind of fit as I do with the adjustable elastic). The design is trim and cute as can be!!! The triple snap keeps the diaper in place so well for tiny babies all the way to moving, curious toddlers. The colors are beautiful (though Spearmint is completely different--and much darker--than it shows on the site) and make cloth diapering as fun as diapering can be. ;)

I wish I could say this is the magic...

Trimmest one size diaper available
Fuzzi Bunz did a great job tweaking the design of their one size diaper. The Elites are the trimmest one size diaper I have used in 6 years of cloth diapering. With the exception of prefolds and flats, which are not for everyone, this is the only diaper I would recommend to a friend to use from birth to potty learning.

Pros:
Very trim
No bulky rise snaps
Hip snaps (to prevent wing droop)
Soft, absorbent minkee inserts
Replaceable elastic, no sewing required
Soft leg elastic, no red marks on baby's skin
Strong back elastic, no poop escaping out the top of the diaper

Cons:
The elastic is not fun to replace - you have to fight with it. But, its not something you will have to do often - maybe once in the life of the diaper.

With the Elite, they have made the crotch trimmer, omitted the useless 4th snap on the bottom row and moved the button adjustable elastic to the inside of the pocket so the buttons never touch...

Fuzzibunz user since 1999
We just had our 5th child and we have used Fuzzibunz since our first was born almost 13 years ago. Of course, Fuzzibunz has changed here and there over the years but every time we've had a baby, we end up using Fuzzibunz exclusively but only after trying out all the newest "it" cloth diapers out there at the time.

PROS:

-The new Elites are super trim! They are almost as trim as a disposable! The Elite would definitely fit a tiny newborn (6-8lbs)...way better than Fuzzibunz Perfect size XS or S (I have both). I cannot speak for the top size range of the diaper as my son is just 6 weeks old and 11+ lbs at the time of this review.

-The minky inserts are buttery soft and way better than microfiber inserts.

-The new fleece inside is less pilly as promised. There seems to be some inconsistency though. Out of the 24 Elites I own, some are ever so slightly pilly and others are not at all...they are super smooth to the touch. I think maybe it's just...

Blueberry Mini Deluxe Pocket Diapers, Monsters Reviews

Blueberry Mini Deluxe Pocket Diapers, Monsters reviews from buyers.

Very soft!
I am starting to build my newborn diaper stash, my son won't be here for a few months. I am very impressed with the softness of the inside of the diaper, the quality of the snaps, and the construction of this cloth diaper. As I said, my son won't be here for a little while, though I look forward to using this cloth diaper for him.

I will also say, as a first time mom new to cloth diapering, the snaps are very straight forward. A few of the diapers we have are planning to try have A LOT of snaps and might be a little challenging to put in a squirmy baby.

love it
I love this covers because it is sturdy, good color just like on a picture, you can use snap-on inserts or regular. have double anti-leak protection on a legs part and runs bigger then econobum covers.(that want i used before bububibi covers).my son 7 months and already 18-24 months clothes size and weight about 30 lbs so econibum was on a last 2 snaps buttons(8 buttons total).this on is on 4th from the middle.Im so glad because it is mean I will use it for along time at least he is 12 months old!!!

nice!
I love these! It's great too get diaper covers at this price that actually work well. I've purchased a few brands (ALL much more spendy) pro wrap, bummis, Thirsties and Thirsties duo. The Thirsties duo is double the price and the performance is similar. Yay!

I LOVE this cover!!!!!!!
I am in LOVE with this cloth diaper cover and even purchased two more. This is the only diaper cover that I know of which has ALL of the following awesome features: a snap in the back to hold the insert in place (provided that the insert also has a snap), leg gussets, plenty of buttons for size adjustments, and an inner front pocket for securing the snapped insert even better or adding in an extra insert. As everyone else stated, it is really big and would work best for an older baby or even a toddler, but that is not a big problem for me; I will just have to use smaller covers until my Little One is big enough to fit into it. However, if you need it right away for a newborn, don't bother.

The only thing that stopped me from rating it five stars is that the PUL is not very good quality, but in light of all of the other unique features, that did not stop me from loving the item. When I washed it for the first time, it took FOREVER to hang dry for it to be just a cover and I...

Bambino Mio Bio Liners - 160 Sheet Pack Reviews

Bambino Mio Bio Liners - 160 Sheet Pack reviews from buyers.

Love these liners!
I didn't need these liners while my daughter was exclusively breastfed since that poo just dissolves, but once we started her on formula and solids these were a must to help protect the investment we made in our cloth diapers PLUS I have never wanted to mess with a diaper sprayer. With two older kiddos having a sprayer in their bathroom just seemed like an invitation for some wort of water disaster in the future. But I digress.
These liners have been wonderful, if she has only peed on them then i toss them in the wash with our diapers and they go through the washer with no problem- in fact, they come out still strong but SUPER soft! So for anyone that stresses about the fact that they aren't soft to begin with- just tear a bunch of them apart and run them through the washer with your diapers. I've never bothered since my daughter does just fine with them a lil on the stiff side but you could if you want. DO NOT run them through your dryer though! They are not usable after that- I...

great liners, make cloth diapering a breeze
These liners are fantastic. I use them with my fuzzibunz pocket diapers, and they catch the solid waste every time, even when it's less solid. they don't irritate my baby's skin, nor are they rough like some brands. I highly recommend them. love that they're flushable, they haven't clogged our finicky toilet at all.

Work great just a little rough
I use these with Fuzzi Bunz and regular prefold cloth diapers. They aren't very soft, but they stay together better than the softer liners. I haven't had any problems with leaking around the sides and they do a great job with solids and pretty good job with softer/messy poop!

Thirsties Duo Fab Fitted Snap Cloth Diapers, Mango, Size One (6-18 lbs) Reviews

Thirsties Duo Fab Fitted Snap Cloth Diapers, Mango, Size One (6-18 lbs) reviews from buyers.

Soft, cute but just okay
The soft outer is very cute and the tunnel design is nice for putting additional inserts. This isn't super absorbent like many fitted usually are. For the price they could have just laminated the outer too, because there new AIO is basically like their fitted but laminated. I just expected this fitted to be much more absorbent if it wasn't going to be waterproof.

Love this cloth diaper
I'm only a little embarrassed to be writing a review titled 'love this cloth diaper.'

I recently purchased several different cloth diaper options to decide which ones I would use to size-up my 3 month old who is too big for the littlest diapers that we still have. In addition to this cloth diaper, I bought a Thirsties Duo Wrap Snap cover, a Thirsties Duo diaper, a couple wool pants, some Osocozy prefolds a BumGenius 4.0 and a Fuzzibunz One size. We had used Fuzzibunz perfect size small, Thirsties fitteds and covers and Kissaluvs size 0 for the newborn to first couple months stage. I ultimately decided on the Thirsties Fab Fitteds and the BumGenius as well as some prefolds to keep cost down.

these cloth diapers, right out of the package, are super soft. They have nice soft elastic in the back and an extra snap in front for overlapping (for the tiniest little babes) at the waist as well as an adjustable rise. What I didn't quite understand before purchasing, was that these cloth diapers...

The perfect nighttime diaper!
I have been using these cloth diapers since my daughter was born for specifically at night time. I stuff them with a Thirsties hemp insert or a Babykicks hemp insert, cover it over with a Flip cover and they are virtually leak proof. My daughter can sleep all night with no leaks 99% of the time. These would be bulky for day time wear, though. I love that the pocket where the insert goes is open on both sides, it makes it a lot easier to stuff. I was also able to resell my size 1 diapers for about half of what I paid for them new. I bet these will have an even higher resale value because they are snaps, the ones I sold were Aplix. I highly recommend these!

Affordable AIO
I ordered a few of these cloth diapers and am very impressed at the quality for the price. I don't really think these are true AIOs. It's basically a soft shell with a snap in soaker, but they are fantastic. They dry very fast and fit my 6 mo old and 2.5 year old snuggly. these cloth diapers definitely run small though. The rise is quite short and they only fit my toddler because he is skinny.

the fitting was great and SO COMFORTABLE!!!
the fitting was really great seeing how is was adjustable. I also like how you could adjust the trim of the cloth as well. very comfortable

good night diaper
I bought these for my13 year old with severe CP. I use both inserts and don't put them in the pocket, too time consuming . then put two pre fold diapers folded down the middle for night diaper use.. This combo has worked very well and now she wakes up with dry pJ's.

Very soft to the touch. Almost sexy. But not much on function. Must be for just minor leaks. They leak.
they Leak, dont hold much liquid, insert pads I thought would be a benefit but it was just too much work and difficult timing to insert after washed. Perhaps a zipper? Jk.velcro adhesive to stay in place. Very bulky.

Diaper Dekor Diaper Disposal System- Sage Reviews

Diaper Dekor Diaper Disposal System- Sage reviews from buyers.

Very good, but still smells
We purchased this cloth diaper pail to replace a Diaper Genie that broke. We liked the idea of being able to have something other than plain white. In addition, we were starting to get frustrated with the smell from the DG. The quality of the Diaper Dekor is very good, and we have no complaints there. However, the main reason we spent the extra money for the Dekor was in hopes of reducing the smell that came from the old pail. Unfortunately, the smell still remains...That being said, the great news is that this pail is MUCH easier to swap out the bag. So, unlike the Diaper Genie (which I dreaded replacing the bag on), if the Diaper Dekor starts to smell, I can throw out the bag, even if there are only a few diapers.
In summary, if I had to purchase a pail again, I would do the Dekor again, primarily because of the ease of swapping the bag using the convenient door at the bottom, and because of the variety of colors.

love it!
Love this! Looks awesome! Keeps smell in. Don't know its filled to the brim with stinky diapers unless I open it! Does have a little smell escape when putting a new dirty diaper in. Smell hangs around for about 45 seconds or so and then is gone. I'd say you can't beat this! Love the bag changing system. Makes it a breeze! This plus size is perfect. Just bought a second one for the other level of my house.

It keeps the stink in -- and that's all that matters folks
These things are the ONLY diaper pails that truly WORK. They keep the stink in. Yes, when you open the flapping door to stuff a new stinky diaper in you will get smacked in the face with the smell of four day-old diapers but only for a second and then it's contained. Totally. Our daughter is now 8 months and poops are getting pretty nasty. My four year-old still pees a pull-up to its breaking point at night and it smells horrible. But you'd never know what's in the pail unless you open it up. I say that's a small miracle folks and I've owned several pails. We likes these a lot. My husband doesn't even mind changing the bag out!

Real Nappies Cloth Diapers Essentials Pack, Newborn Size, for babies up to 12 weeks, 5-13 lb Reviews

Real Nappies Cloth Diapers Essentials Pack, Newborn Size, for babies up to 12 weeks, 5-13 lb reviews from buyers.

Liked the system a lot
Overall these were
easy to use
easy to clean
real versatile
5 stars from me.
My guys are moving up in size so I am getting the next size up!

Work, but there are better alternatives
I bought this set because I thought it would be a good introductory pack to cloth diapering, which it is. The diapers are very absorbent (use diaper detergent), and the covers have not leaked on us. So overall, it was not wasted money.

This set only contains enough diapers for 1 day of newborn diaper changes (if you're lucky). You'd need to get two or three sets just to avoid doing laundry daily. Well, really you need 2-3 sets worth of prefold diapers, and could get by with fewer covers.

I just wish that I had realized that I could buy all the components of this set cheaper elsewhere:

Thanksmama.com Prices:
White Indian Cotton Prefolds - Infant 4x8x4 $21/dozen
Prorap Classic Diaper Covers - Newborn - White $6.99 each
Bio-Soft Liners - Small (5x12 inches) $6.29
Total <$50 for the same quantities of this set

I bought the items listed above and the prefold diapers are EXACTLY like the ones in this set, and my husband and...

Good value, very absorbent
We bought the newborn essentials pack for our baby. We're very happy with it. This package is just enough for one day of diapering for us. We need to wash every day, but we're fine with that. We've tried both GroVia and Thirsties all in ones, and Real Nappies are more absorbent. My husband prefers these over disposables, and cloth all in one diapers. They're easy to clean and use. The only downside to these (which also applies to any pre-fold and cover system) is that they are bulky, but that's not stopping us from buying the next size up, which we will do when our daughter is a little older.

Rumparooz Reusable Cloth Pocket Diaper, Robotronic, Aplix Reviews

Rumparooz Reusable Cloth Pocket Diaper, Robotronic, Aplix reviews from buyers.

Best Velcro Diaper I have Found

The good and the bad
I like these cloth diapers, but they do have one downside. With our four month old (diaper expanded to one snap away from the largest), poop inevitably covers the entire area you have to stick your hand in to pull out the insert. This is... not fun. On our other cloth diapers, the pocket opening opening is much higher, actually on the top seam at the back. As far as I can guess, this is why the problem occurs with the Rumparooz. The opening is an inch below the back of the diaper.

On the positive side, they almost never leak. And the poop issue can be handled by sticking a wipe over the area and grabbing the insert through it. But it all seems like something that is avoidable if they just moved the opening higher. If they fixed that, I'd give 5/5.

We encountered a slight problem when ordering in that we ordered two applix and they sent us two snap ones. The bands on them had labels saying "applix" even though they were snaps so it wasn't just a simple problem...

just ok
I've had this cloth diaper for about 8 months and use it at least twice weekly.

Pros:
No leaks
Soft
Large inserts

Cons:
The opening to pull out the insert is too low and can get messy when trying to remove it from a poopy diaper

I don't care for the gussets. My diapers without gussets don't generally leak, so they seem like a waste, especially when poop gets trapped in the little gusset crevices

Ordered snap but received velcro

It seems like it has become misshaped since I first bought it - like the soft inside fabric shrunk so it doesn't really match the size of the waterproof outside

The rise is too short for my 1 year old who weighs 26 lbs and is about 30 inches tall. There is no way that it will fit him until potty-training

Happy Heinys ONE for ALL One Size Cloth Diaper Hook & Loop Closure + 2 Microfiber Inserts (Dove Grey) Reviews

Happy Heinys ONE for ALL One Size Cloth Diaper Hook & Loop Closure + 2 Microfiber Inserts (Dove Grey) reviews from buyers.

Not too great
I really liked the concept of this cloth diaper and the way it fit my lil one, however, the velcro stops working after a while and the double fold makes it really bulky for her belly

Hold up well over time
We were given a set of Happy Heiny's one-size diapers when my son was used from a friend who had used them with both her children. My son is now 2, and the diapers are in great shape. Of the 15 diapers, 2 have a couple missing snaps. We are now expecting our 2nd child, and these cloth diapers will go on to their 4th round of work. We use hemp inserts behind the microfiber and have never had a problem with leaks. We use the small hemp inserts during the day and large hemp and large microfiber inserts at night. We mostly have snaps, but also a couple of velcro. I've tried a couple BumGenius velcro and Fuzzy Bunz velcro and I gotta say that Happy Heiny's velcro is MUCH better. It's thicker and wraps around making it more secure.

good diaper less bulky
well i like this cloth diaper because,1) it is soooo soft on touch,2) it fits my 2 months old very nicely on the second row of snaps,3)it is really not bulky .i had only one leak on the first use since i change my baby every 2-3 hours so no problem

what i do not like the velcro part of this cloth diaper ,the other side of the velcro is curling out and i have used this cloth diaper for a month or so. also i use to think this cloth diaper was made in USA but the label says china. the pul feel pretty sticky on the inside almost like it is gonna melt on hot sun

Kushies 5 Pack Washable Ultra-Lite Diaper For Infant, Neutral Print Reviews

Kushies 5 Pack Washable Ultra-Lite Diaper For Infant, Neutral Print reviews from buyers.

Totally awesome!
Husband likes these because they are easy to put on (no more complex then a disposable)... and good absorbancy with space for an extra insert for overnight if you have a heavy wetter. Our little one is 10 months (tall and skinny baby) and they fit her great and she can still crawl around without a big bulky diaper in her way. Not too bulky under clothes etc either.

best fit, easy to use
These are the diapers that fit my babies and my needs the best out of all of the ones I tried. There is a center flap for the liner that increases absorbency but creates extra surface area so the diapers dry faster. The nylon taffeta liner is waterproof and comfy for baby, while being able to withstand frequent washings. I had both a boy and a girl who wore Kushies AIO ultra-lites, and these were the diapers with the least leaks and best fit. these cloth diapers are the best and so easy to use that my babies daycare said they would work with the cloth diapers, provided I continued to bring the Kushies. The cost makes them very affordable quickly when compared to even generic disposable diapers. I really liked these cloth diapers, and would recommend these to my friends who want to go cloth.

Cute but not a great fitting product
These are great All-in-one diapers in the sense that they are cute, useful, and priced well. I would love these much more if they had some elasticity around the waist. That really affects my opinion because if you have a pooper like my son, then there are more blow outs than necessary. Adding an elastic would get rid of any gapping, prevent leaks, and extend their fit. They also don't fit the sizes that they say they do, I'd take about 3pounds off the size in each direction. Instead of fitting, IDK 10-22 lbs, it's really about 13-19 lbs.

Blueberry Coveralls Diaper Cover Hook/Loop, Monkeys Reviews

Blueberry Coveralls Diaper Cover Hook/Loop, Monkeys reviews from buyers.

The best covers
I love the Blueberry covers, and have since my son reached about 10-12 pounds. I originally bought one because the design was cute, but have since purchased more for their function. As others have commented, these are not trim covers, but they do hold everything in well. We use prefolds with a Snappi and haven't had a leak since my son's thighs filled out. We use a variety of covers (Thirsties, Flip, Imagine, wool), but these are the ones both my husband and I like best. My son's sixteen pounds and about to grow out of the Thirsties Duo Size 1, but he's still on the first adjustment of these, so I can see them lasting a long time. The Velcro on these is stronger than any other, too.

Strong Velcro!
The Velcro on theses covers are wonderful! I enjoy how they can be resized too. They fit my little girls chubby legs very well! The Velcro, I cant get over is so strong! I think when she is older and tries to pull the Velcro off, she will be unsuccessful!

Covers leak after 3 months of use...
I bought 6 of these cloth diaper covers April 15th due to all the amazing reviews, and now(the first week of July) they are leaking right trough their 'waterproof' material and soaking my sons clothes, bedding, etc. I have taken very good care of these covers, have never dried them in the dryer(bad for the waterproof lining), and left them to hang dry instead. Customer service has a return policy, but not for this so-called 'wear and tear'(seriously? After 3 months?), so go for the cheaper one size cover. These are cute, but don't last.

Real Nappies 6-Pack of Indian Cotton Prefold Cloth Diapers, Newborn Size, for babies up to 12 weeks, 6 lb to 13 lb Reviews

Real Nappies 6-Pack of Indian Cotton Prefold Cloth Diapers, Newborn Size, for babies up to 12 weeks, 6 lb to 13 lb reviews from buyers.

Nicely made, but bulky
These just seemed too big for a newborn. The newborn covers, however can barely get around these because of the bulk. I ended up buying some Thirsties to fit over these better. I think they will last a while yet, but they are just too much for 0-4 weeks--at least for our baby.

Love Real Nappies!
Very pleased with Real Nappies. Purchased the Snug Wraps, Cloth Inserts and Flushable Liners as a complete system. After crunching numbers/comparing products, Nappies were the best choice for price, quality, and longevity. The Cloth Inserts are made of high quality material, breathable and the stitching is well done. They are also ample size and tuck well into the Snug Wraps. The fold I use causes the Cloth Inserts stick out a bit in the back, which I like because it kind of acts as an extra barrier. The only thing I do not care for are the large tags. I am not one for labels anyhow, and they always seem to be sticking out. Have to fold the Cloth Inserts a certain way so the tags are always on the outside and not rubbing against baby's skin. It would be much better if they were at least sewn flat. Have often considered cutting the tags off...

Well Made
These are definitely well made and will last a long time. I agree with the "bulky" comment, but they aren't too bad. Just a little harder to fold. I also bought the OsoCozy unbleached prefolds, which I like a little better because they don't stain as easily and are softer.

Fuzzibunz X-Small Newborn Cloth Diaper 6 Pack Gender Neutral Colors with Reusable Dainty Baby Bag Bundle Reviews

Fuzzibunz X-Small Newborn Cloth Diaper 6 Pack Gender Neutral Colors with Reusable Dainty Baby Bag Bundle reviews from buyers.

Great Starter Pack
This is a great start for newborns I have twins and my smaller twin is still in these at 2.5 months. They are easy to take care of and hold up to washing very well.

Very nice diapers
These are very well made and nice diapers....that being said I returned these because they were so expensive. I couldn't't justify the cost for a newborn when babies grow so fast. Pocket diapers are a one time use and then you need to wash them.I went with easier ore folds and some thirsties covers.

LOVE these cloth diapers
I love these cloth diapers - so soft and absorbant! They wash and dry quickly. Will order bigger sizes once he gets bigger. It breaks my heart putting him in paper diapers (disposables) when we go somewhere.

bumGenius Elemental One-Size Cloth Diaper - Mirror Reviews

bumGenius Elemental One-Size Cloth Diaper - Mirror reviews from buyers.

Holds Urine Smell
While I like our BumGenius cotton all-in-one it has one significant drawback - it holds onto the smell of urine more than any of our other diapers. We use kissaluvs snap-on diapers with thirsty's wraps about 80% of the time and all-in-ones when we need a diaper change while out of the house. We have BumGenius, Kushies, Growvia and Seedling all-in-ones to choose from and while I like the fit and function of the BumGenius I find myself reaching for it the least because it is a big pain in the butt to wash. Let me elaborate on the problem:

All of the our other all-in-ones employ a flap design, whereby the diaper, shell and soaker pads are all sewn together but the soaker pad is able to flap free in the washer and dryer (or on the clothes line). This allows the water and soap to move through the fabric freely, easily removing the pee and poop residue, and allows for a reasonably fast drying time. The BumGenius soaker pads are sewn into the diaper at both ends, which I think...

No need to look further
We have just started cloth diapering (with our third - why did we wait so long?!) We are expecting a baby in a few months and got some of these for our 16 month old that we will also use with the new baby. We started off with just a couple, thinking we might want to try out different types/brands of diapers, but these are so perfect - we just bought a couple dozen without even trying any others.

EASY - church nursery, babysitters, etc. have no issue with these, because they are no different than changing a disposable diaper. Other than having to do an extra load of laundry at night, there is no more work involved in cloth diapering with these than diapering with disposables.

NO LEAKS - our son is now at the age that he had started leaking out of Pampers Cruisers at night, like our other kids did at this age (they take a cup of water to bed with them). I just stuck a hemp liner in these cloth diapers for overnight and I have not had a single leak (we've been using...

First time cloth diaper user
This is our fourth child and I finally decided to give cloth a try!! I bought 18 of the organic bumGenius diapers. I don't regret my purchase and I love these cloth diapers. The downsides - the organic stains easier so plan on lots of sunning! The sun gets the stains out, and I like air drying them better anyway. They also take forever to dry. I read reviews and almost didn't purchase because they take a long time to dry, but I found that my bamboo inserts take a long time to dry also. I also question whether or not you could really use these on a newborn because it looks like it would bunch up too much.
Pros:
1. Trim fitting and soft
2. Organic Cotton
3. Easy to use
4. One size with adjustable snaps so you don't need to size up or down
Cons:
1. Stain easier
2. Drying time
3. Price is more expensive
4. Might not work for newborns
Overall I am satisfied with my purchase. After reading soooo many reviews on diapers there are...

Real Nappies 6-Pack of Snug Wrap Diaper Covers, Newborn Size, for babies up to 12 weeks, 6 lb to 13 lb Reviews

Real Nappies 6-Pack of Snug Wrap Diaper Covers, Newborn Size, for babies up to 12 weeks, 6 lb to 13 lb reviews from buyers.

Great Value for diaper covers!
These are really nice covers, and the price was amazing, so with twins I couldn't pass it up. You can use these for a couple of diaper changes, I was expecting shiney sided pul on the inside of the covers but I think it is a sandwiched PUL with fabric on both sides. That being said, it stays dry after a wet diaper. It takes alot to saturate the fabric. They seem to breath nice. This is a tri-folded prefold system so it is a little bit bulky, but the covers are made roomy, they also work great with my homemade fitteds, and Thirsties fab-fitteds. Leg gussets would be a nice addition, but we have had very few leaks and they were probably our fault anyway. You just have to make sure the velcro is nice and snug.

The only con I found about these covers is that the laundry tab is a little too small and placed too close to the velcro tab itself. Not a major issue, you just have to be very deliberate in the way you place them so other laundry doesn't get stuck to the velcro,...

Seemed great at first
I originally bought these covers because I was looking for a sandwich PUL diaper cover with a velcro close. These looked good and they were a decent price. I also found it appealing that they stood up to industrial washing cycles. Certainly, this meant I would be buying a durable diaper cover.

They were great, at first. First, the leg elastic started to go out. After about one months of use, the leg elastic was stretched out enough that I was getting leaks.

Then, the velcro started to go out. The diaper cover would randomly pop off while my son was crawling around on the floor. I tried every trick I could find on the internet to get the velcro to stick again. I cleaned out every tiny bit of fuzz fastidiously with a small comb. I ran them through the dryer with the tabs overlapping. Nothing worked. I finally resorted to making sure I always had a onesie on over the diaper cover. Even then, the diaper would still pop off and hang out one side of the...

Love these cloth diaper covers!
I had given up on the idea of cloth diapering my newborn, but immediately got sick of all of the disposables I was wasting money on. However, my "one size" diapers were way too big. I found these on Amazon, and decided to give them a go. My baby is just now growing out of them at almost 13 pounds (3 1/2 months), and I am sad to have to move into my already-purchased larger size diapers. these cloth diapers never seemed to get damp from the inserts/prefolds, they didn't stain, the insides aren't the plasticy-type material you get with most diaper covers, and my baby never had a blowout out the tops. However, I really wish they had leg gussets...as leaking occasionally occurred (but not often). If they made them with leg gussets, I think they would be pretty close to the perfect and best cloth diaper at the perfect price (I'd even pay a bit more for the gussets!). I suppose leaking could have been averted if I used prefolds with a snappy...but I folded them into simple "inserts" instead...and they weren't...

YES
Cute, vibrant colors and the functionality t'boot! This cover keeps in all the mess and moisture while staying dry on the leg gussets, making it reusable. These are my favorite covers as they're also very durable. I bought the highly recommended Thirsties cover to compare. They have a nice fit but moisture is always wicked to the leg opening and I don't like putting something wet back on my baby, so they're really only a one-time use before i have to wash them again. They also don't feel as well-made. LOVE my rumparooz..!!

Kissaluvs Cotton Fleece Hybrid One Size Contour Diaper, Unbleached Reviews

Kissaluvs Cotton Fleece Hybrid One Size Contour Diaper, Unbleached reviews from buyers.

Not bad, but not great either
this cloth diaper might be a good option if you prefer to use 2-part diapers (diaper & wrap). I have found that these types of diapers keep a lot of the moisture next to my baby's skin, which tends to cause iritation. The other problem with this is that I used it with a Thirsties Wrap. The Kissaluvs diaper is a one-size, whereas the Thirsties Wrap is not. My baby is still young, so I bought a small wrap, and the Kissaluvs does not fit well inside it. If you do buy this cloth diaper, you might want to invest in a wrap that is one size larger than what you might otherwise need.

great and best cloth diaper!
Kissaluvs Cotton Fleece Hybrid One Size Contour Diaper, Unbleached

This is a great and best cloth diaper! The sewn-in soaker makes it very absorbent. In fact, it takes a LOT to soak through this cloth diaper. The leg gussets contain blow outs really well and the wrap around wings make for a snug fit, especially with a snappi. We use ours by themselves (around the house) and with a Thirsties Duo-Wrap overnight or anytime we need to make the diaper last a little longer. It fits my skinny 8 pounder very well and seemingly comfortably. I started out with 3, but we'll definitely be adding more to our stash.

One of my favorite diapers
i absolutely LOVE the kissaluv hybrid contour diapers! they are super soft on my baby's skin and i can get a great fit with a snappi or pins. Another plus is that they don't leave red marks on baby's tummy either since they don't have snaps on them. I think everyone should have at least a few in their stash! They fit my baby from day 1 and still fit great at 4 months with tons of room to spare.

Mother-Ease Sandy's Cloth Diaper - Organic - Large (20-35 lbs) Reviews

Mother-Ease Sandy's Cloth Diaper - Organic - Large (20-35 lbs) reviews from buyers.

Another winner from Mother Ease, so great for nights
Mother Ease are one of my all time favorite diaper brands. They are so soft, super durable, and great at containment. I love the one-size and these Sandy's fitteds. The large size can easily fit a trifolded Thirsties hemp prefold, and combined with a wool cover it's the Fort Knox of nightime diapering. The bamboo is sooooo soft. I love how the sides are so stretchy and the elastic is super gentle. You can adjust the snaps to a looser setting if you have a baby with super chubby thighs. I love Mother Ease, I've literally never had a single leak with them.

great and best cloth diaper
These are big butt diapers, but with lots of bulk comes lots of absorption. I am a cloth diaper collector, I have one of just about every kind you can imagine, but nothing could last my heavy wetter through the night without leaving a terrible diaper rash because of the wetness. I happened upon a used set of these cloth diapers at a consignment store with the extra inserts included, and decided to try it in combination with a large thirsties cover. It was amazing, it may be huge but for the first time ever I can put my son down in a cloth diaper and not wake up to a diapering disaster. My son is very thin and narrow in all areas and it still fits, but I liked how the leg could be adjusted if he were a chunkier baby. A good diaper cover also makes up for any little loose areas that occur because of my son's stick thin frame, so if you have a thin child go for a cover with good gussets just in case the leg ends up being a little loose. Fitted diapers can be expensive, but I would...

By far one of the BEST diapers I've used
I bought this in size lg for my almost 9 month old 25ish lb son. He is a chubby boy and fairly heavy wetter. I pair this with the thirsties duo cover and it fits wonderully underneath. It's somewhat bulky but not terrible. Very soft and comfy. I wear this on him for sleeping, naps, long trips. It works great. Holds in everything and haven't had any leaks yet not even with his massive poops. I could probably wear a size down on him on the largest setting but this size works wonderfully on the smallest. Working on saving money to add more to my stash. Hands down wins over all the other (many many many) brands I've tried. Mother-ease sandys and kissaluvs contours are the BEST diapers I've ever tried. Would definitely recommend. Definitely worth the price.

Gerber 10 Count Prefold Gauze with Pad Cloth Dipaers, White Reviews

Gerber 10 Count Prefold Gauze with Pad Cloth Dipaers, White reviews from buyers.

Not for cloth diapering!
These are great as burp cloths but do not use these as diapers! The "absorbent" batting in the middle is no comparison to real cotton prefolds, like those from green mountain diapers. Your baby will soak right through these Gerber "diapers" and you will probably not want to cloth diaper anymore. Regal prefolds are pretty inexpensive also, so if you want to try cloth diapering, do your research! Try green mountain diapers or diaper rite.

Closer to what I wanted, but still not right...
For my first baby, I used Gerber diapers as burp cloths and they were GREAT. So absorbent and bigger than the dinky burp cloths sold as such.

I only had a few left so with baby #2 I have been hunting for the same diapers. First purchased a package labeled "birdseye" because it was all I could physically find in stores - immediately returned because they are a thin loose weave that wouldn't stop any liquid from passing through except right in the center where there was extra padding.

Next I purchased these. Much closer to what I wanted - actual cloth that is better at stopping liquid from passing through. However, these have extra padding in the center and apparently it was removed from the sides. So although the sides are real cloth, they are pretty thin. A bigger spit up soaks through.

I would try the type with equal padding throughout but I don't have the stomach to pay another $20+ for a pack of diapers that may not be exactly what I was...

Great for burp cloths
I purchased these because I needed a good absorbant cloth for my heavy spitter upper. These are great! They are very soft and wash well too (they do shrink a little but they are supposed to). Great buy!

Rumparooz Cloth Diaper Cover, Dexter Plaid Aplix, Newborn Reviews

Rumparooz Cloth Diaper Cover, Dexter Plaid Aplix, Newborn reviews from buyers.

Saved the day for my cloth diapering
The covers are easy to use and do not leak. I have a slender baby so we have issues using the pocket diapers as they leak around the legs. The Rumparooz are the perfect solution! My baby is 3 months and is still wearing them snapped down a setting so they can last a while as your baby grows.

Favorite newborn cover
Love, love, love. This is the cover that I reach for every time. The Aplix is great with a newborn as you get a great fit every time, the PUL is good quality, the print is adorable, it washes up easily and my son is 15lbs and still fits into it with ease. The double-gusset is what really sold me on it - - I never have leaks. I also have the cover (different print) in the snaps and much prefer the Aplix for ease of use. Given that you don't wash a cover every use (unlike a fitted or AIO), the Aplix makes sense for us.

Great little covers
I love these covers, they truly are newborn size so not too much bulk in those first few days and weeks.

Charlie Banana Reusable 2 in 1 Cloth Diaper, Blackbeary Reviews

Charlie Banana Reusable 2 in 1 Cloth Diaper, Blackbeary reviews from buyers.

great
We just started on cloth diapering and our Girl is 1 year old. Charlie Banana is the first brand we tried and we stay with it. They are extremely cute, didn't leak yet (and we had already extremely messy ones) and they fit perfectly. We always had problems to find diapers who fit because our girl doesn't have a butt in her pants. All my friends and family thinks that I am crazy to use cloth diapers because no one knows how easy they are to use!!

Perfect
I was looking for a good cloth diaper to use for overnights, and a friend suggested these. I use them with the insert they come with plus a disposable extra insert for nights, and they work perfectly! Very high quality, very durable. Good sizing - fit my four month old (who is petite) right away, and I can tell from the buttons they will fit for a long time.

One note - be careful washing. One of our brightly colored ones leaked on our whites even though it was its third time in the washer.

Hooray for Charlie Banana
I am new to cloth diapering. I started out with many different brands/styles of diapers to see what I liked. I have been very happy with Charlie Banana overall. The diapers are very easy to use and are not too bulky on my son. The legs openings are adjustable and each diaper comes with a small/med and a large insert. Last but not least, this "handsome" print diaper is adorable!

Thirsties Duo All In One Snap, Polka Dance, Two Reviews

Thirsties Duo All In One Snap, Polka Dance, Two reviews from buyers.

I love Thirsties diapers!!
My 12 month old has been in Thirsties cloth diapers since she was born (well, once we used up all of the disposable freebies). We've used the duo diapers with the stay dry duo inserts, the duo snap wraps with the prefold inserts, and the all in ones with the hemp inserts. They are all fantastic!

So, let's focus on the AIO. I love that I don't have to get my hands dirty during a changing by removing an insert. I love that I don't have to use an insert during the day. I love that I put it on like a regular diaper. I love that it's not as bulky as the others. And I love that it doesn't leak. However, I really have to keep an eye on the clock. If the baby goes 3 over hours in the same diaper, it can soak through or leak through the legs. This is the only Thirsties diaper I've tried that actually soaks through the diaper. So, if I'm busy cleaning the house or something, it'll mean getting my hands dirty on a wet diaper and needing a change of clothes.

If I had to...

Great after a few washes!!
this cloth diaper leaked the first time or two, but after about five washes they no longer leak. These definitely need to be prepped more than Thirsties recommends! That said, I absolutely LOVE these cloth diapers. Our main stash is a collection of 2-in-1 systems (mostly Best Bottom and Grovia) although we have prefolds/covers, fitteds, aios, and 3-in-ones. I find myself reaching for these Thirsties AIOs more often. We haven't seen any gaposis at the legs or waist. The size 1 is the same as size 2 on the smallest setting. Right now, our large 3 mo old fits into both. FYI: Our kiddo is tall with chubby thighs.

PROS:
*They wash well
*Have not retained stink
*DRY FAST
*Held in explosive EBF poop even without double gusset
*Super soft inner
*Customizable absorbancy
*Trim for an AIO
*Aplix sticks without wrestling (like Best Bottoms H&L which is a little TOO sticky)

CONS:
*IMHO too pricey for a full stash
*Adding a doubler inside...

So far so good
This is our first adventure in cloth diapering. After copious amounts of research, we decided to start with this brand. I purchased prefolds, the duo cover, a duo fab fitted, stay dry inserts, the duo AIOs, and the wipes, all from Thirsties. The AIO has been the easiest to use. My husband has no complaints about these versus disposables (and I'm shocked). These wash well, don't stain, dry in about 1 1/2 cycles in the dryer on medium (not too bad). The snaps hold up well to both my 2 month old and my 2 year old who wears them to bed. I haven't used them with a liner yet. I do recommend the snaps over the velcro though. The velcro doesn't hold up well in the wash after only a few weeks, and I've been careful with it. Also, one diaper arrived with a damaged snap (still functional but cracked). Thirsties customer service immediately sent out a replacement and postage paid return for the damaged one. Great customer service is a great bonus. Everything arrives in eco friendly...

Kushies 6 Pack Washable Flat Diapers, White Reviews

Kushies 6 Pack Washable Flat Diapers, White reviews from buyers.

Must Have!
These make the best burp cloths; they are a more useful size than the ridiculously small things sold as 'burp cloths,' they are much softer than birdseye flat diapers, and they're a lot more absorbant than receiving blankets. We have also used these as diapers, blankets, sunshades, for covering carpets/furniture in baby's vicinity, as impromptu towels, and the list goes on. Do yourself a favor and order at least a dozen.

The best flat diapers available
I bought these flat flannel diapers for my grandson and they are the best. I looked high and low for flat flannel diapers and finally stumbled on these. They are ultra soft, wash beautifully and can easily be folded into thirds to fit in a velcro diaper cover. They also work great as baby bath towels, burp cloths, and receiving blankets. Six packages of these cloth diapers will last the entire diapering period with changing the folding pattern. For a little over $100 plus the cost of your choice of diaper covers you are set from birth to toddler. I would definitely buy again. I wish I could have found these when my own children were babies.

Awesome flatfold diapers!
I have a few different brand of flat fold diapers, and these are among my favorite. If I had to purchase only one brand of flats, these probably would be it because of their quality and price.

I watched a few videos on Youtube to learn folding methods. I have a form of dyslexia and have difficulty following a series of directions, so if I can get the hang of folding these, most anyone should be able to do it.

I had been using these cloth diapers for a year now and the material is holding up wonderfully. The material's integrity has is barely worn and I've used these quite a bit. These are absorbent once they've been washed a few times and they remain soft. They do get pill up, as flannel tends to do, although that hasn't bothered me. I love how easy these are to wash and dry. It is incredibly simple. There are never any stink or build-up issues. I was also surprised that these don't seem to stain easily - especially since they are made from a natural...

Gerber 5 Pack Prefold Birdseye Organic Diaper, White Reviews

Gerber 5 Pack Prefold Birdseye Organic Diaper, White reviews from buyers.

Not the best organic cotton
Organic cotton diapers are something that I have often bought to use to make embroidered baby gifts. These, however, were disappointing. The cotton was not as soft as I associate with organic cotton and they were made in China. For babies, I do not like to use products made in China. I would not order these again.

The best dipers ever!
I have tried many different dipers and did many returns!! These sre my favorite!!! They are very soft, no thick edges around, lightweight! 100 % cotton, and it is very-very soft.

Stick with the originals
I ordered two packs of these for my second baby as I used them constantly with my first. What I didn't realize was the difference between the regular ones and these "Birdseye Organic" ones. These are thinner and rougher than the original. I promptly returned the package that I had not already opened and washed so I could get the original diapers. I would not recommend this particular version, but having white cloth diapers is a must for any mom.
