Snappis are the best

I love these cloth diaper fasteners. They really help when baby starts to outgrow the diaper they are in but are not quite big enough for the next size. They stick to almost anything and they are really durable. The do take on odor and need to be cleaned. I put them in the dishwasher. I have 4 and cycle them throughout the week.

Does the trick... even for newborn!

Everyone else will state that these are nifty little guys and do the trick keeping those diapers together under the cover, and are much safer looking than traditional diaper pins. I agree.

Here's my extra advice: Start with this size 2/toddler size for the newborn. As soon as my baby hit about 11 lbs, the smallest size prefold (Osocozy size 1) was hard to fasten with the size 1 snappi. While others complained that the diaper was just too small, I decided that the Snappi just wasnt long enough to expand with the baby's quickly growing belly. Buying the size 2 Snappi worked and allows the prefold to last longer.

So my advice: just start with the size 2 Snappi and don't even bother with the size 1.

Great fasteners for cloth diapers

I really like these. They catch on our Thirsties hemp prefolds extremely well. We have some old Gerber prefolds that I use as burp cloths and they do not catch on them for some reason. They are inexpensive and work great, the only down side is the claws can be a little sharp so make sure to keep them away from baby's kicking legs while you're changing them!
