Baby Blues Denim Velcro All In One AIO One Size Cloth Diaper by Mommy's Touch reviews from buyers.
Quality but lacks some convenience...
I've been trying a few AIO cloth diapers on my 1 month old daughter, and this is trial diaper 3 of 3. I am happy with the quality of construction and materials. My only gripe is with the amount of snaps and the time it takes to figure out which one goes where to ensure a proper fit. I'm not an idiot; I just would prefer something easier. My very intelligent engineer husband (who thinks I'm crazy for wanting to cloth diaper in the first place...) is even less likely to want to figure out how to use them. I would recommend the Bum Genius AIO diaper over this cloth diaper--they have the same quality (with a touch of velcro), but I think are easier to use. I hope this helps.
great and best cloth diaper!
I bought 12 of these cloth diapers when I decided to start using cloth diapers on my 16 month old. We have been using them for a week. I really love these cloth diapers. We have had a couple of leaks, but it has been mostly trial and error on my part.
My tips about leaks:
-Make sure the diaper is 100% dry before you use it! They do take a lot of drying time - more than 40 minutes on high in the dryer.
-If you snap the doubler in the front, make sure it does not go to close to the waist of the diaper. This happened today and his urine went right out. Don't know why the doubler was so high up. Maybe it was for a prints and I used it in a solids. I usually use them in the back anyway.
-When you put the diaper on a wiggly baby, make sure the sewn in soaker is smoothed and in proper position.
Other notes:
-I use flushable liners since my son is on table food and is teething. For new moms, this means poo that is not solid...
I recomend opting for an organic or all natural diaper alternative
When I bought these cloth diapers I was new to cloth diapering. I have had these cloth diapers for about 9 months. At first I really loved them. They seemed really absorbent and seemed very soft when we first got them. I had looked at an organic one size AIO but thought these would be better because the fleece was so soft. Also these were a couple dollars more a peice (though, at pinstripes and polkadots they give you a discount--the more you buy the more you save). It was very important to me to have a one size and an all in one diaper as this seemed the most economical to me.
I read the reviews and most people seemed to like these. I did read one review that said these cloth diapers stink, which I didn't understand. I thought as long as you washed them the correct way it would be fine. So, unfortunately, I put all my eggs into one basket and ordered 15 of these cloth diapers. And like I said they were good at first. But then they started to stink, which I thought was fine, I could...
