i did a lot of research before deciding on the BumGenius diapers. they are about 25 dollars a diaper, so it was not a decision i made lightly. i got them when i was still pregnant and did not know anyone who had personally used them before, so it was a big gamble. I am sooo happy i got them. they wash and wear really well, and they have held up to major poops and still come clean! hanging them in the sun gets stains out, btw. I have never had a blow-out with these dipes, although at night they leak a little bit if they become too saturated with urine. this does not detour me though, because cotton can only hold so much liquid compared to those mystery gels that are in disposable dipes. Also, i had to use disposables on a couple occasions, and my son got a rash from them. )if your baby has sensitive skin, consider making the switch.)Also, they adjust in size, so you dont have to buy them in multiple sizes. Get these cloth diapers! you wont be disappointed. One thing though, you never know...

very dissapointing

I am a big fan of bumgenius freetime diapers. i'm using them on my 17 months old girl already for more then 6 months and they are still as new and great. so my expectations of this organic diaper were not less, i bought one to try out and still am VERY DISAPPOINTED, because:
1. they get wet and stay wet SO FAST
2.the plastic cover touches my baby's skin
3.the poop "gets lost" between both layers and is not easy to wipe clean (even when using paper liners)
4. it takes FOREVER to dry
It looks very nice from outside and organic value of it is very tempting, but I find it very unpractical and inconvenient to use and not comfortable on my baby.

Cloth Diapers

I have purchased several different brands of cloth diapers. This is for baby number 5!! I would only recommend the ones with the snaps, the Velcro types of diapers are useless after several washes if you don't close the Velcro, and who has time for that with kids!!
